Books and Brews - The Big Short

Books and Brews rolled along with some Red Trolley Ale and a lovely discussion about the 2008 financial crisis! On August 6, 2019, at Karl Strauss Brewing Company, the club gathered to discuss The Big Short by Michael Lewis. The book offered a diversion from our typical professional development book in dramatic fashion. With its in-depth look at the problematic subprime mortgage system, those in attendance were able to gain some financial knowledge while discussing how we can learn from the mistakes of the past.
