LinkedIn Workshop

LA YMF hosted a LinkedIn workshop on Tuesday, December 4th at the Metropolitan Water District office in Downtown LA. Monica Morales, resident LinkedIn expert and LA YMF Secretary, led the workshop on how to better utilize the professional networking site. It was a highly beneficial experience for those in attendance as Monica gave suggestions on how to highlight our work and volunteering experience, how to boost the success of future posts we share, and how to differentiate ourselves through our LinkedIn profiles. After her presentation, we were able to get to work on editing our own LinkedIn profiles and receive Monica’s input during the hands-on portion of the workshop. Thanks to Monica, everyone who attended is now one step closer to becoming LinkedIn All-Stars.
