ASCE 2019 Convention in Miami Joint YMFs Student Sponsorship
Apply to attend the 2019 ASCE Convention in Miami, Florida, held Oct. 10-13, 2019. The Joint YMFs of LA Section (LA, OC, SB/R, SLO, SB/V, SSJ) are seeking applications from all eleven student chapters.

One student will receive up to $1000 in reimbursement for the cost of registration, flight, and room (all receipts required).

Listed below are the general requirements for applicants. The applicant must be:
- Enrolled in an accredited university (provide proof of enrollment for Fall 2019)
- Majoring in Civil Engineering or a related field
- An active member of an ASCE Student Chapter
The recipient will be selected based on the following criteria:
• 50% Written Essay
• 40% ASCE Involvement
• 10% Attention to Detail
