Our goal is to inspire students that are curious about STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) and to explore the world of engineering together! We have put together a great team to lead EWeek 2023 and can't wait for you to join us.
If you are a student, teacher, or parent and are interested in participating in EWeek 2023, please reach out to us at laymf.eweek@gmail.com! If you are a prospective sponsor, please download our sponsorship packet below and reach out to us at laymf.eweek@gmail.com.

ABOUT EWEEK
The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Los Angeles Younger Member Forum (LA YMF), with support from our generous sponsors and several Council Districts, has participated in Engineers Week for more than a decade. Founded by the National Society of Professional Engineers in 1951, EWeek is dedicated to ensuring a diverse and well-educated future engineering workforce by increasing understanding of and interest in engineering and technology careers.
Our week-long event consists of five days of exciting fun-filled activities led by engineering professionals. Our unique event invites schools from the greater Los Angeles area to participate and is dedicated to introducing students of all levels to local branches of government and various fields of engineering. Our goal is to educate students about how their own communities were built and to inspire them with the possibilities of helping to shape their built environment!
In 2022, we took a hybrid approach, coordinating both in-person and virtual events and saw over 1,000 participants from over 15 schools. Students participated in hands-on activities such as creating DIY filtration devices, designing pasta towers, and building electric circuits. Engineers Week 2023 will be held from February 19-25 and will be returning to a completely in-person event!
If you are interested in participating in Engineers Week, please do not hesitate to reach out to one of our EWeek Co-Chairs or Day Leads!
