Give a hand to “Nothin’ but Sand” with LA YMF at Heal the Bay’s April cleanup event. We will be meeting at the north side of the historic Santa Monica Pier to clean up the beach by collecting trash and debris that has been left behind, brought over by the storm drains, or washed ashore from somewhere else. Bags and gloves will be provided but if you have your own reusable garden gloves, buckets, or bags that could be reused from home, please bring them. All are welcome so invite your friends, family, and colleagues. We hope to see you on the beach!

Join LA YMF as we help the Friends of the Los Angeles River in the Annual LA River Cleanup event near the Sunnynook Footbridge (Sunnynook Drive at Legion Lane, Los Angeles, CA 90039). In 2012, 3,000 volunteers pulled 22 tons of trash in three hours, which would otherwise end up in our ocean and pollute our river. This is a FREE and everyone is invited, so grab your friends and colleagues to volunteer for this great cause!
