STUDENT SCHOLARHIPS AND AWARDS 

The ASCE Los Angeles Section, Metropolitan Los Angeles Branch (MLAB) and Younger Member Forum (LA YMF) are proud to introduce this year's scholarships and awards for ASCE student members and university chapters.  There are many scholarships available to help offset your ever increasing college tuition.  Below is a summary of each award and a link to each application. 

*ALL APPLICATIONS MUST BE POST MARKED OR E-MAILED TO THE RESPECTIVE SCHOLARSHIP COORDINATOR BY FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 15, 2013

 Please read the scholarship criteria carefully.  The Graduate Scholarship and Outstanding Student Member Awards are only open to MLAB schools.

Los Angeles Section Scholarships

There are three (3) L.A. Section Scholarships open to all Student Members attending any of the 11 L.A. Section schools (CBU, CSULA, CSUN, LMU, UCLA, USC, CSUF, CSULB, UCI, CSPUP, and CPSUSLO).  The scholarships are usually between $2000 and $5000.

Los Angeles YMF Outstanding Student Chapter

Open to all 11 L.A. Section ASCE Student Chapters (CBU, CSULA, CSUN, LMU, UCLA, USC, CSUF, CSULB, UCI, CSPUP, and CPSUSLO).  Award includes $500 and a year of bragging rights.

Los Angeles YMF Outstanding Student Member

Open to all Student Members attending any of the 5 MLAB schools (CSULA, CSUN, LMU, UCLA, and USC).  Award includes $500 and a year of bragging rights.

Los Angeles YMF Graduate Scholarship

Open to all ASCE Members and graduating Student Member looking to pursue or currently pursuing a graduate degree at any of the 5 MLAB schools (CSULA, CSUN, LMU, UCLA, and USC).

MLAB Branch Scholarship

Open to all Student Members attending any of the 5 MLAB schools (CSULA, CSUN, LMU, UCLA, and USC).

MLAB Branch Patti Gadomski Memorial Scholarship

Open to all Student members attending any of the 5 MLAB schools (CSULA, CSUN, LMU, UCLA, and USC) in the pursuit of an engineering degree and the improvement of their community and the quality of life of their neighbors and peers.

MLAB Branch La Val Lund Memorial Graduate Scholarship

Open to all Student members attending any of the 5 MLAB schools (CSULA, CSUN, LMU, UCLA, and USC) and recognize and reward those who choose to continue their graduate education at one of 5 the Branch universities.
